Cognitiv registered AROC and ReOC commercial drone certifications under CASA Australia in 2025. The first field protocol worth writing up: calibration folded into the first ninety seconds of the lift, not done as a separate pre-flight step.
The operator does nothing different. The aircraft arms at t=0, captures the calibration frame at t=10s, aligns at t=45s, payload-hot at t=90s, and is in survey at t=120s. The calibration sample is part of the takeoff trajectory rather than a sequence the pilot has to remember.
This matters because the failure mode in commercial drone work isn't usually airframe - it's procedural. Steps get skipped under time pressure. Removing the step removes the failure mode.
Field-ready for aerial capture, survey, and calibration work that pairs with the platform and ML pipelines when commercially useful.
